Notarisation and Certified Translation Services

Typical examples of documents requiring some sort of certification include:

  • marriage certificates
  • birth certificates
  • death certificates
  • diplomas and degrees
  • important company documents, such as memorandum and articles of association, minutes etc.

We can offer:

  • A certifying letter on our headed paper confirming that we have completed the translation. This is signed and stamped by Atlas.
  • A notarised or "legal" translation, which is signed and stamped by a public notary.
  • An apostilled translation, which is stamped by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Please note that we cannot offer any of these services for translations not completed by Atlas Translations. You will need to check with the appropriate authority exactly which service is required.

Case Study
London-based Atlas Translations was thrilled to be able to help a newly married couple go on honeymoon.  They had married abroad but were not going on their honeymoon straightaway.  The airline tickets were booked in the bride’s married name, so she set about arranging a new passport. Unfortunately the passport office would not accept the translated version of the marriage certificate the couple had supplied and time was running out. Atlas Translations was able to translate the certificate within an hour and had it notarised by a Public Notary within four hours.  It was couriered to the passport office the same day, and the couple were able to go on honeymoon at last!
