Atlas Translations Bra Bank – How To Donate Your Unwanted Bras

Atlas Translations’ St Albans office has been collecting bras for charity for many years. Strapless, plunge, Wonderbra, lift’n’separate, sports, maternity, balconette, wireless, underwired and everyday-grey: your unwanted and unloved bras raise money to fund breast cancer research.

Donating to the Atlas Translations Bra Bank during the Covid-19 Pandemic

Thanks to the wonderful Anna we have a permanent Bra Recycling Bin which raises money for a great charity, Against Breast Cancer. Women across Hertfordshire deposit their unwanted bras with us at Atlas Translations and they continue to do so despite the Coronavirus pandemic.

How To Donate Bras to the St Albans Bra Bank

  1. Put your unwanted bras in a plastic bag, seal it and mark it clearly ‘Atlas Translations Bra Bank‘
  2. Pop the sealed bag through the large letterbox at Atlas Translations offices at Censeo House, 6 St Peter’s Street, St Albans, AL1 3LF
  3. The large letterbox is emptied daily and your unwanted bras will be added to the Bra Bank.
  4. From a distance, please accept our huge thanks for making the Bra Bank such a success.

For every tonne of bras collected, Against Breast Cancer receives £700 to fund research. Landfill is reduced and the bras are sent to Africa for a new lease of life. A fantastic initiative that we’re very happy to continue to support.

Many people are spending more time at home and having a good clear out and we’ve seen a rise in enquiries from local people who have items to donate. The success of St Albans Bra Bank is reliant on your donations. Thank you to everyone who has donated over the years.
