Atlas Translations ITI Award Winner 2021
Atlas Translations ITI Award Winner 2021 – We were so delighted to receive an award from the Institute of Translation and Interpreting at their virtual conference which ran from 12 to 14 May 2021.
Despite any reservations we may have had regarding the event happening online, these soon disappeared as we saw the quality and variety of the presentations and the enthusiasm of the delegates.
Director Clare Suttie was on a panel discussion about how the last year has been for freelancers (above), and another about the research recently produced by Aston Business School and the Association of Translation Companies – great to have hard facts.
SMEs making use of language capabilities are 30% more successful in exporting than those who do not.
And our highlight was winning the ITI Corporate Member of the Year!
We were told: “Atlas Translations showed great resilience and agility in achieving their most successful trading year ever, despite the uniquely challenging nature of the business environment in 2020. Judges also recognised the way in which the company embraced remote working to maintain efficiency and engagement; introduced a number of initiatives to support freelancers; overhauled their freelancer recruitment process; and raised considerable funds for local charities.”
We greatly appreciate the support of ITI and have really enjoyed the virtual conference this year. Thank you!
