Confidentiality and Our Translation Services

There are plenty of reasons why confidentiality can be an important factor for translation services, and at Atlas we’re happy to provide any assurances you might need. If you’re looking to find out more about our client confidentiality policies, here’s everything you need to know.

What measures can we take to protect confidentiality?

In all the work we take on, it’s our policy for our staff and suppliers to treat their work with the utmost confidentiality. We keep all of our files on our secure database for six years as standard, but can delete them sooner on request.

If required, we are more than happy to ask our translators and other staff to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) or a Confidentiality Agreement. Non-Disclosure Agreements are legal documents stating that parties involved in business together agree to protect any sensitive or confidential information from being released.

Why might confidentiality be important?

There are many cases where confidentiality may be significant while conducting translation services. For businesses, information may sometimes be protected to ensure new products, developments or innovations are not leaked to competitors. We can help to maintain integrity and trust in our services through our professional standards and confidentiality processes.

For private clients, sensitive information can sometimes be part of the translation process, such as pictures or personal details. Our confidentiality measures offer you complete peace of mind when these things are part of the translation process.

We work with all sorts of different client needs and services at Atlas Translations, and confidentiality is always a priority in whatever we do.
