Diploma and Academic Transcript Translation

The rise of international student mobility means that there’s an increased demand for translation of academic documents. If you’re a student who needs a transcript translation, or an academic institution looking to support future students with reliable translation services, we can help!

Students experiencing different cultures

As a translation agency and language service provider, we’re delighted to see that more and more students are choosing to study abroad. We think studying abroad, learning languages and experiencing different cultures is great; such an experience not only boosts the student’s future employability, but brings benefits to the local student base and universities. Some of the Atlas members studied abroad and are vocal about the huge benefits it had on their lives. Over the years, we’ve happily welcomed many a work placement from EU countries, offering them the opportunity to gain some experience in the translation industry. In fact, our Project Manager Stefania was one of them, having joined Atlas Translations as a work placement back in 2013!

Student admission and paperwork

Although applying to study in a foreign country is exciting and a great investment, sorting all the paperwork can be a bit of a challenge. Once you figure out what sort of documents have to be submitted and whether you meet all the requirements, it may turn out that you need to provide official translations of certain documents, such as diplomas or university transcripts. This will be the case if your documents are in a language other than the institution’s/destination country’s official language. Translation of the documents will help to verify that you qualify to study.

What is an academic transcript?

Academic transcripts are official records provided by the university that detail the study programme, courses, grades, and credits obtained by the student. In short, transcripts provide important information about the student’s academic performance and achievements. They enable course providers to evaluate whether an applicant meets the qualification requirements. Because of that, it’s essential that the documents are accurately translated by an independent and professional translator.

Diploma and transcript translation services

Intimidated by the idea of getting your hands on a certified transcript translation? Don’t be! Here at Atlas Translations, we make it really easy.

If you’d like to apply to a UK university and need academic transcript translation to English, just get in touch. We can provide you with a certified translation of your diplomas, degree certificates, academic records, and any other required documents.

Our certified translations are accepted by UK organisations and institutions, and they confirm:

  • that it’s a ‘true and accurate translation of the original document’
  • the date of the translation
  • the full name and contact details of our translation company

We also do our best to maintain layout and formatting, so that the translation can be easily followed when compared to the original document.

How we translate academic documents

We’re proud to work with many highly-qualified and experienced translators in a wide range of languages. It doesn’t matter if your diploma and other documents are in German, French, Danish, Polish, Latin or other languages. Just email a scan or clear image of your document to team@atlas-translations.co.uk or fill out our quote request form, and one of our friendly project managers will get back to you with a quote.
