The Ukraine Crisis: Free Translation Help
The humanitarian crisis resulting from the Russian invasion of Ukraine has led to over four million Ukrainian refugees having to flee their home country. At Atlas Translations, we’re able to offer free translation for certificates for visa applications from Ukrainian citizens looking to settle in a new country.
Working with the Ukraine Family Scheme
We’ve already been able to help several families from Ukraine to translate the important documents needed for visa applications, such as birth certificates and passport information.
This free service may be particularly useful for people coming to the UK through the government’s Ukraine Family Scheme visa, which allows Ukrainian refugees to join their family already living in the UK. This scheme requires official evidence of an applicant’s relationship to the family member, which we can help to translate through our free service.
Free Translation Template
The Association of Translation Companies (ATC) and Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) have also worked together to create a translation template for official documents, which can be freely accessed through the ATC website. These templates have been created by translation professionals and provide guidance for those looking to translate Ukrainian documents into English.
A group of translation associations, of which Atlas Translations are a member, have developed a language support task force to deal with the influx of Ukrainian refugees to the UK and other countries. Translation can play a crucial role in helping those affected by the crisis.
Unfortunately, it is also the case that suppliers based in Belarus and Russia can no longer be paid due to the ongoing circumstances.

All of us at Atlas Translations would like to express our sympathy for the people of Ukraine during this deeply challenging time.
