Memory Walk for The Alzheimer’s Society
Dementia is a common condition that affects about 800,000 people in the UK. The risk of developing dementia increases as you get older, and the condition usually occurs in people over the age of 65.
An early diagnosis can help people with dementia get the right treatment and support, and help those close to them to prepare and plan for the future. With this treatment and support, many people are able to lead active, fulfilled lives…
My family and I will be supporting The Alzheimer’s Society by taking part in a Memory Walk in loving memory of my Granddad who suffered from dementia.
Memory Walk is a series of fundraising walking events taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland every Autumn, all raising money to provide vital support to people living with dementia and to aid our research into finding a cure for the future.
We will be raising money to support families and individuals affected by this condition.

Any sponsorship would be very gratefully received by my family, The Alzheimer’s Society and the individuals that you will be helping.
