Basil is a black lab and also the goodest boy. Born in mid-2021, he grew at an exponential rate and is now a great big hunka, hunka burning (doggie-breath) love.
An avid lover of uncooked potatoes, Basil will happily swipe any lying around. This can leave you feeling like you’re losing your mind when you’re quite positive you left some on the kitchen table. Basil is a keen swimmer and enjoys walks in the sunshine. He also loves cat food (don’t ask) and going for walkies out in the drizzling rain.
As well as playing tug-of-war with anything from toys to bank cheques, Basil likes to celebrate everything in life: leaves blowing in the wind, long naps (honestly, same), and just being with his human, Anna.
There really isn’t anything that Basil doesn’t love. Sometimes, he just likes to stare out of a window and contemplate how great everything is. He’s a black Lab and therefore genetically made to think everything is just brilliant. A lesson we could all learn from.
