Project Management at a Translation Agency

How do we find the best person for your translation or localisation project? Introducing Pedro.

Project Management at a Translation Agency – Since 1991!

Back in 1991, we had folders upon folders of hard-copy application forms and CVs. As Atlas grew, we realised we needed a project management database to quickly choose the best person for each job. We looked at many options, but nothing available off the shelf did exactly what we wanted.

So we built our own complete project management system, affectionately named Pedro.

Pedro allows us to track our suppliers and clients, giving our project managers everything they need at their fingertips.

Containing details of over 4000 approved freelance suppliers, Pedro allows us to search according to:

  • Language (including regional variations)
  • Location
  • Specialisms

This way, we can find the most suitable supplier for your requirements.

We only work with suppliers with a proven track record within the industry and their areas of expertise. To ensure quality, all suppliers are selected in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems) and 17100:2017 (Translations Services) standards.

As an extensive database, Pedro allows us to search quickly and efficiently to cover more than 340 languages.

We use Pedro to find support services such as design and layout, brand-checking, interpreting (inc. telephone), transcription, voiceover, cultural training and much more.

It is worth mentioning that, at the time of writing, we have more than 4000 approved suppliers, but we also have more than 6,000 who have not been approved because they have not met our requirements.

Call us on 01727 812 725 to let us know what you need and we can help. Send us an email to team@atlas-translations.co.uk. We respond quickly to all enquiries. Or use the little icons on the website for live chat (it really is one of us) or to request a callback within 27 seconds.

Atlas have been translating (policy documents) for us into several languages since 2004. They are friendly and efficient and have always provided accurate and cost-effective translations well within the agreed deadlines.
