Amy Watts

Supplier and Marketing Coordinator

In The Beginning…

With a wealth of experience in luxury hospitality and events management, Amy Watts originally brought her expertise to Atlas Translations as a Project Manager. Her passion for exploration had already taken her on an international journey, with stints living in Canada, Argentina, and Spain.

Language Expert

Her time abroad not only expanded her cultural horizons but also equipped her with fluent Spanish skills. Amy further solidified her career aspirations in the translation industry with a Master’s degree in Translation Studies.

Project Manager

With Atlas Translations, Amy discovered that her role allowed her to combine her love of languages with her natural talent for connecting with people. This role has now evolved into coordinating our Supplier program and marketing campaigns.

Since becoming a parent, Amy’s life has taken on a new rhythm, and she relishes the varied work at Atlas, which enables her to engage with a diverse global community from the comfort of her own home.

Change is Good

In the summer of 2023, Amy embarked on a new adventure, relocating to Manchester with her family. Admittedly, Devon will always hold a special place in her heart. As someone who loves experiencing new cultures and communities, Amy Watts was thrilled to immerse herself in everything that her new home has to offer.

Thank you for your kindness, help, and prompt efficient service.

Mirela Watson (feedback for Jim)

Clare’s review of my CV was incredibly helpful, thorough, and added a lot of value to it. She also gave a good look at my LinkedIn profile and website, pointing out their strengths and weaknesses, from the point of view of an experienced professional who runs a successful LSP. And she did all that while raising funds for the Fairlynch Museum! I am very grateful for Clare’s comments and a huge admirer of the work she does helping translators and her community. Thank you, Clare!
